Pre Sale Questions

We are the producer of the leaves which are processed in the factory within the premises of Okatyi tea estate and we indulge in purely organic practices in our estate. From manure to pesticides, everything is organically processed from natural elements such as neem leaves, flowers, etc. Most significantly, Okayti is perched in a location that receives the right amount of sunlight and rain, these factors contribute to making our tea exceptionally distinct and inarguably the best Darjeeling single estate tea.

Firstly, we try to dispatch teas as soon as they are ready. Secondly, we store our teas in food-grade foil packaging within a moisture-free environment, tightly tucked in airtight containers and away from heat.

If kept in an ideal condition, our teas can last for 2 years and more. All it needs to be is away from heat, strong aromas and in an airtight container.

Our teas are crafted from the finest organic leaves, sourced directly from renowned gardens in Darjeeling and Assam. We offer unique varieties—including the world’s first elephant-friendly Assam teas—ensuring ethical, sustainable cultivation that protects wildlife and the environment. Each blend delivers exceptional flavor, aroma, and purity, providing a truly premium tea experience.

Store in airtight, opaque containers away from light and air. Keep in a cool, dark place to preserve freshness. Avoid strong odour to prevent flavor contamination.

Darjeeling First Flush tea refers to the very first harvest of the season, typically picked in spring. These teas are prized for their delicate, floral flavor and light color.

Clonal First Flush teas are made from specially cultivated tea plant clones, offering unique flavor profiles and often more pronounced floral or fruity notes compared to traditional varieties.

Muscatel tea is a type of Darjeeling tea known for its distinctive muscat grape-like aroma and flavor, usually harvested during the second flush. It is highly sought after by tea connoisseurs.

Our Assam Black Tea is certified as the world’s first elephant-friendly tea, meaning it is produced using farming practices that protect elephant habitats and ensure safe migration routes for wild elephants.
